Obituary

Joseph A. Fabian, 98, husband of the late Josephine M. (Costello) Fabian of Phoenixville, PA passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022.

Born on September 24, 1923 in Phoenixville, PA Joe was the son of the late Andrew J. and Mary (Szczypiorski) Fabian.

Joe was a Supervisor at AP deSanno and Sons for over 30 years.  One of the highlights of his career was to travel to Ireland and help start up a new manufacturing plant there.

Joe was a faithful and active member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Fourth Degree life member of Phoenixville Knights of Columbus, and life member of the Polish Club.  He served on Phoenixville Borough Council for 20 years and was President for 10 years.

Joe liked the simple things in life:  a good cup of coffee, a nice piece of cake, participating in Phoenixville  bowling leagues, watching Philly sport teams on TV,  the joy of playing cards, bingo, and going to the casinos with family and friends, working in his yard then relaxing in it, and visits from his great-granddaughters.

Joe was devoted to his family, church and community.  We are grateful for the many precious years we had with him.  Eternal Memory!

Joe is survived by 2 sons: Andrew J. husband of Mary Ann; Robert J. husband of Debra; grandson Matthew husband of Sarah, 2 great-granddaughters, Ruth Josie and Jeanette Marie, brother Edward Fabian, and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Josie, Joe was preceded in death by his brother, William Fabian, Sr. and sisters Eleanor Szymkiewicz and Loretta Kelemen.
