George Michael is the third generation of his family that was born in Phoenixville. After attending St. Mary’s and graduating from St. Pius X High School in 1991, he began his studies at Northampton Community College and graduated from there in 1994.
From the young age of 7 years old, George Michael had wanted to become a Funeral Director after experiencing the role due to deaths within his own family. He began to work in the funeral industry before he even began his studies at Northampton.
George Michael received his Certified Funeral Service Professional status from the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice in 2004, and took over the funeral home in 2005 with pride in continuing the tradition of serving families of this community in the way the funeral home has built its reputation on.
He is a member of St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church, and for the past 20 years has served as organist in the area Catholic Churches.
George Michael is a member of Phoenixville Knights of Columbus # 1374; Valley Forge Fire Company; Friendship Fire Company; West End Fire Company; NFDA; PFDA; and Chester County FDA.
George Michael has three sons, George Michael, Nicholas and Aiden.
